Keith Haring ASC Harlem Center: Breaking Ground!

With the swing of a hammer, ASC marked the start of construction on the Keith Haring ASC Harlem Center on January 19, 2010.

An incredible family of supporters joined us, including The Keith Haring Foundation, and representatives of Congressman Charles Rangel, Mt. Sinai Hospital’s Jack Martin Clinic and Community Board 11.

While providing a safe space for Harlem residents to find respect, connection, and care, the Keith Haring ASC Harlem Center will showcase Keith Haring’s iconic artwork—and honor the legacy of his art and life.

Follow our progress with regular photo updates.

Ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, May 17th.

ASC Supports Haiti Relief Efforts

Our thoughts are with the people of Haiti, struggling to emerge from devastation and suffering.  With the hope and belief that we can do something tangible for our Haitian neighbors, we urge you to join ASC in helping CapraCare and Hôpital Albert Schweitzer.

CapraCare was founded by one of ASC’s program managers from Haiti, Jean Pierre-Louis, who personally lost family and friends in the earthquake.

Hôpital Albert Schweitzer sponsored a staff member, Pastor Rubin, who attended ASC’s Peer Education Program, and took the information and skills he acquired back to HAS.

Donate now to support CapraCare and Hôpital Albert Schweitzer in their efforts to provide vitally needed earthquake relief and medical care to children and families in Haiti.
